SB Series Dial Maintenance

I have been messing with a couple of SB twins, and always have trouble
putting
the dial drive onto the drum. I am talking about the small brass disk that
slides
onto the plastic disk that has the freq indication on it... If you
understand what
I'm talking about, is there any special hint about how to do this? I
eventually
get it done, but not without some irritation... Please don't refer me to the
manual.

Also, any sources out there for direct replacement  electrolytics for HV
caps in the
SB-401 like transmitter?
