I have specs, model year and original selling price and other data on
seven of the earliest Heath scopes. If the group is interested, I'll
post the date. Also have the same data on a lot of the other early
stuff and some of the later items. Here's an example, using the oldest
scope that has a model number (the oldest numbered one I have data on):
O-7 Oscilloscope Kit. 10 tubes. Cascaded vertical amplifiers
followed by a phase-splitter and balanced push-pull deflection amps.
Sharp focus. Greatly reduced retrace time. Step-attenuated,
frequency-compensated. Cathode follower vertical input. Frequency
response to 5 mHz: 0.03-v RMS vertical sensitivity; 0.6-v RMS/inch
horizontal sensitivity. 29 lbs shipping weight. $43.50 in 1952.
Anyone want more???
73, Keith
