Having received a modicum of encouragement, Here goes. Today, the
scopes. Tomorrow, some of the other stuff. I don't have info on all of
the older test gear, but I'll send what I have.

O-10 5" push-pull Oscilloscope. 11 tubes. Broadband ampss for
color TV servicing. Vertical frequency response within 5db from 5 Hz to
5 mHz. Response down less than 1.5db @ 3.58 mHz (color sync burst
frequency). Printed circuits. New sweep circuit, linear from 20 Hz to
more than 500,000 Hz. Built-in 1-v peak-to-peak reference for
calibrating plastic CRT faceplate. 5UP1 CRT. Push-pull horizontal &
vertical deflection amps. Horizontal trace expendable to 3X CR tube
diameter, allowing examination of small parts of signal. 0.025v/inch
deflection sensitivity. Frequency compensated step attenuator @
vertical input. Charcoal gray panel. New wide band model. Shipping
weight 27 lbs. Price in 1955: $69.50. (I have this one)

OL-1 3" scope with 3GP1 CRT. Very compact (9 1/2" X 6 1/2" X 11
3/4"!). Printed circuit boards. Charcoal gray. Direct connections to
deflection plates for checking AM plate modulation. Vert. amp
response: within 1dbfrom 1 Hz to 100 kHz; within 5db from 5Hz to 500
kHz. Vert. sensitivity: 0.2-v/inch @ 1kHz. Input impedance: 12Pf
shunting 10-megohms. Sweep generator: 10 Hz to 100,000 Hz with
positive lock-in circuit. Cathode follower input on both vert. & horiz.
amps. Provision for internal and external sync & 60 Hz line sweep.
Shipping wt. 15 lbs. Price in 1955: $29.50.

OM-1 5" Scope with 5BP1 CRT. Amplifiers flat within 1db from 10 Hz
to 100 kHz; down 7db from 10 Hz to 500 kHz. Sweep Generator: 20 Hz to
100,000 Hz. Adjustable spot shape, RF connections to deflector plates,
direct-coupled centering controls, external and internal sweep and sync,
60 Hz line sync, built in 1-v p-p panel-terminal-accessible reference
voltage. Shipping wt. 24 lbs. Price in 1955: $49.50.

OP-1 5" Scope. DC-coupled amps. DC-coupled CRT unblanking.
Triggered sweepcircuit works on internal or external signals and can be
either DC or AC coupled. Selectable triggering signal polarity. Select
any point on the wave form as the start of sweep, using the "TRIGGER
LEVEL"control. "AUTOMATIC" position also provided, in which sweep
recurs @ 50 Hz rate, but can be driven over a wide range of frequencies
without additional adjustment. Switch-selected sweep frequency
base-rates are2 & 0.2 milliseconds/CM and 20, 2 and 1 microseconds/CM,
in conjunction with a continuously variable 10:1 multiplier. Sweep
frequencies calibrated to within 10$ at any control setting. Sweep
frequency can be reducedby adding capacitance to the "EXT CAP" binding
post on the front panel. 5ADP2 flat face CRT has edge-lighted grid
screen. Conetic-fernetic CRT shield. 12-position vertical attenuator
calibrated in volts-per-CM. Horizontal sweep is calibrated in
time-per-CM. 34 lbs. Price in 1958: $179.95. (This is still a pretty
darned good scope.)

O-12 5" Scope. Vertical frequency response: 3 Hz to 5 mHz, plus or
minus 1.5db--5db without extra switching. Down 2.2db @ 3.58 mHz.
Sweep: 10 Hz to more than 500 kHz in 5 steps. Automatic sync with
self-limiting cathode follower for good linearity and lock-in. Short
retrace time. Efficient blanking. Push-pull Vert. & Horiz. amps. 1-v
calibrator. Step-attenuated and frequency-compensated vertical input.
11 tubes, including 5UP1 CRT. Z-axis input for intensity-modulation of
beam. Horiz. amp response: Plus or minus 1db from 1 Hz to 200 kHz.
Horiz. sensitivity: 0.3-v RMS/inch. 22 lbs. Price in 1958: $65.95.

OM-3 5" Scope. 5BP1 CRT. Vert. amp response: Plus or minus 3db
from 4 Hz to 1.2 mHz. Vert. sensitivity: 0.09-v RMS/inch @ 1 kHz.
Sweep: 20 Hz to more than 150 kHz. Push-pull V & H amps.
External/Internal sweep or sync; 1-v p-p reference, calibrated grid
screen, step-attenuated and frequency compensated vert. input. 22 lbs.
Price in 1958: $39.95.

Those are all the scopes I have dope on. Tomorrow, I'll try to start on
the miscellaneous other test gear.

73, Keith
