SG-8 0.1-v output from 160 kHz to 110 mHz. Calibrated harmonics to
220 mHz. Internal 400 Hz and external modulation provision. 5 bands.
8 lbs. 1954 price: $19.50.
LG-1 Professional lab instrument designed for extreme accuracy in
frequency and output level. Colpitts oscillator. Five rangess from 150
kHz to 30 mHz. Panel meter calibrated in output volts and per cent
modulation. Output more than 0.1-v. Complete ocillator, buffer and
attenuator shielding. Regulated power supply and 50-ohm output cable.
16 lbs. 1954 price: $39.50.
TS-3 TV Sweep Generator. Fundamentals from 4 mHz to 220 mHz with
output well over 100,000 microvolts. Automatic blanking and wide-range
phasing. Triple marker ranges from 19 mHz to 180 mHz using a Colpitts
oscillator plus the 4.5 mHz crystal-controlled oscillator for check
points. Provisions for external marker. Sweep system uses the
"Increductor" controllable inductor. Sweep width variable from 0 to 12
mHz at the lower RF frequencies, increasing to 0 to 50 mHz at the
highest frequencies. Regulted power supply, constant RF output level,
independent marker and RF output control circuits, low-impedance output
and properly terminated output cables. 18 lbs. 1953 price: $44.50.
TS-4A TV Alignment Generator. no detailed specs. Looks very much
like the TS-3. 16 lbs. 1959 price: $59.95.
IG-37 FM Stereo Generator for RF, IF and FM Stereo Alignment.
Produces virtually all signals for trouble-shooting and aligning
multiplex adapters, FM tuners and receivers. Generates mono FM or
composite stereo FM signals. Crystal-controlled 19 kHz (plus or minus 2
Hz)pilot signal, adjustable from 0 to 10% for checking tuner lock-in
range. Switch selection of 400, 1000, 5000 Hz, 19 kHz, and 65 or 67
kHzSCA signals. 100 mHz sweep generator, adjustable plus or minus 2
mHz, for overall RF and IF alignment. Built-in crystal marker
oscillator for IF and dual-tracking checks. Phase test capability. No
balance adjustment needed for equal Right and Left channel modulation
levels. Weight not given. 1968 price: $79.95.
The next transmission will begin the long list of miscellanous test
gear. I will probably have to split it into several parts, depending on
how long it is. It's already atsix hand-written pages.
