Thought I'd circulate this info to everyone, in case anyone has been
looking for what I consider the ultimate contact cleaner and lubricant.
I bought a 2-oz. bottle and a spray can of it 12 years ago, and the
propellant in the spray can gave out long before the contents were used
up. I still have a half-ounce of the liquid in the bottle left. I have
done literally hundreds of antique radio switches and ham gear and test
gear, etc. switches and other moving devices needing cleaning. It was
pretty expensive at the time, but not considering the mileage I've
gotten from it, and how good it is. Just the thing for those circuit
board connectors on some of the Heath gear, like the SB-104, etc.
It's called "Cramoline." It was made by the Caig Laboratories,
Escondido, CA 92025. Unfortunately, that's all the info I have, and I
can't remember where I bouoght it. Maybe some of the California troops
can check it out.
73, Keith
