Belton from My Perspective

A wonderful gathering! Great weather, lots of folks, only a dollar to get
in, tons of stuff. Not as much real junk this time (have salavge metal
values risen drastically?) Saw a beautiful NC-300 and several other
National receivers. DX-100 for $125. Several SB-220s for $450-500. A
nice SB-200 for $250. Kerville Ron was there with lots of neat stuff and
mucho parts. Byron was there with some very nice Heathkit stuff including
a 9+ MR-1/MT-1 with the mobile bracket for $100. Phil Mills took all my
money and I couldn't even afford a hamburger much less buy birthday
presents for my grandaughter's birthday tomorrow (2 years old).

Followed me home:

AM-1 impedance bridge; SB-634 station console (2); IM-30 transistor
checker; AA-1 audio analyzer; MR-1 receiver (going to CA); GC-1A receiver
(parts); HD-11 Q-multiplier; QF-1 Q-Multiplier; D-104 (2); SB-301 receiver
with 2m and 6m converters; SB-401 transmitter; SB-600 speaker; SB-610
monitor; SB-630 console; 42 original Heathkit manuals.

Belton is a great hamfest!

73,
gary

P.S. Attention John Burch......guess what? AN original AW-1 manual!
