HW-16/VF-1

Dear fellow Heathens,

Just wondering if any of you fellas have ever used the VF-1 vfo with a
HW-16??  If so, can I please have any mods that need to be made to the vf-1
to work with the hw-16.

I have no idea what my vf-1 was used with.  When I connect it to the '16 it
just oscillates all of the time no matter where the vfo mode is set.  No
output from the rig, just vfo oscillation.

I need to get this going with the hw-16 or I would trade it for a clean
HG-10 vfo.  The vf-1 is in excellent condition and I have a copy of the
manual.  Thanks.

P.S.  I'm also looking for a 40 meter oscillator coil, P.N.  40-79 for
another HW-16 that I'm working on.  Thanks again.
