HG-10B VFO on 6 and 2 meters?

         Hello

I dont have the manuals for either the HG-10 or the HW17 but it would look
like the HW-17 is set up for VFO use such as the HG-10.  The HW17 is a AM 2
meter transceiver with VFO receive and crystal controlled xmitt.  A jack on
the back is labeled VFO.
