HW-101 Drift Problem

I have an HW-101 that has always had a drift problem.  It seems to be a
thermal problem.  Does anyone have any suggestions or a fix for this?

Also, I am interested in installing a modern vfo circuit, does anyone know of
one that has been used or one that might be adapted to work ???
