For Sale: Heath R.F. Signal Generator, Model SG-8

For Sale:  Fairly collectible 50's Heath RF Signal Generator (Model
SG-8).  Small, light brown lunchbox size unit with aluminum carry handle
engraved "HEATHKIT PRECISION".  Front panel has a couple of  light
scratchs from probe handling I would guess but which are barely
noticeable and a small bb size impression on the bottom of the front
panel wrap around but it does not show.  Easily formed back out. Panel
looks almost new.  Sides, back, bottom as well; very pretty brown
wrinkletex.  Top is dusty with a couple of specks of white latex wall
paint from being stored on a shelf near a newly painted wall.  Looks
original, no mods.  6C4 and 12AU7 complement I think.  160 kc to 110 mc
in 5 bands.  Internal and external modulation.  Big knob and vernier
okay.  Missing one pointer knob.  Powers up, shows gain response and some
control but needs checking and TLC.  $55 plus shipping from 70806.
There's not many of these around anymore folks.  FCFS.
