  hehehehe, you're exactly right about it being only a "short term fix" But
it does help for a while until we can get parts.  Besides, I'm a federal
employee so that should explain everything right there. AND the equipment
is State owned. (~Grin~) ;-)

Just a brief note re. using emery cloth to clean relay contacts.  Just
read an app note from a relay manufacturer and they explicitly said
don't use emery cloth, sandpaper, etc.  as it will ruin the contacts.

bad.  It'll work in the short run but cause long-term problems including
shortened (or shorter?) life.
