SO-4550 scope questions....

Just went to a swap meet and an SO-4550 scope followed me home.  I have
questions...
        Is this a factory assembled version?  I casually remember the
kit version as an IO-4550, from my days at sales at the LA store.  It
says "Heath" on it and not Heathkit.  I think, not sure, it is a 50mhz
version.  It is dual trace.
        Anyone by any far out chance have a manual or probes they'd like
to part with?  Can I make probes?  Anyone have good books on how to use
a scope?  It's the only piece of test equipment I don't know how to
use...
