Mike has a very good point.  I'm not certain as to what the standards
are these days, but I took a NASA qualified hand soldering course in the
'60's, when I was fresh out of school and doing R&D work. The only
cleaner that NASA would accept for electronics in those days was 99%
pure isopropyl, because of the low residue.  I built an SB-200 during
the same year using all my newly acquired skills; wish I stll had it.
