I called yesterday and talked to a very nice lady in the sales department.  I
have a small number of ITT amplifier Klystrons and was curious about a number of
things.  She confirmed that Triton is putting together the remnants of various
tube manufacturers including Eimac glass division and ITT microwave stuff.

Hi Guys

This is a strange story. I was in the tube business for a few years but have
been out of it for 4 or 5 years.

First, I maybe wrong but I think Machlett has not been in Slat Lake City for
more than 15 years. EIMAC did have a plant their, I used to have some special
tubes made there.

Surprised to hear about the ITT Op now being Triton ETD. I had understood that
facility had been sold to Litton Industries in Williamsport, PA

If anyone has the real skinny on this I would be interested purely for the
nostalgia.
