Replacement Battery

I recently had to replace a mercury battery in an old camera. It had
also corroded. I called the 800 number on the packags and they told me
what battery was suitable as a substitute, and what types of batteries
require alkaline neutralizer, and what need other (alcohol) neutralizer
to clean up the corrosion. Duracell's (Mallory) was the number I called
(don't have the number anymore).
