Heath Philosophy

I enjoyed your posting to the list.  With Heath's strategy they accomplished
something else.  They provided the opportunity for people to own and operate
equipment for a fraction of the cost of factory wired equipment.  Their
formula gave Heath a huge price/performance advantage for many years.

This price advantage eroded at the end.  And of course their kits became more
and more complex over time.  It's probably a good thing you didn't toss the
HW-5400 assembly manual on the table.  You could'a hurt someone.
