Hw101 Voltages

For low audio output, look on your schematic for a 1/2 W resistor and 20 uF
350 VDC electrolytic. I can't remember the resistor value...22k seems to
come to mind. These components are right by the output transformer (on the
schematic!). The resistor tends to increase in value ALOT with heat and
time. Also, the electrolytic get leaky. We always blamed the electrolytic
for taking out the resistor. Change the cap to a 22 uF since you can find
them (450 VDC seems more common than 350 nowadays), and increase the
wattage to 1 W. Of course, this assumes you did find the resistor was
wacked out.

BTW, there is a similar circuit in the carrier oscillator area that suffers
the same problem and messes with SSB xmit operation.
