There seems to be some confusion as to how many tubes there are in the GR-54
and the GR-64.

In the 1968 catalog the radios are discribed thus:

          GR-54...........6 tubes, 6 diodes and 2 silicon diode rectifiers
                                    superhet circuit   price...$87.95
          GR-64...........4 tubes plus 2 silicon diode rectifiers
                                    superhet circuit   price...$39.95

I hope this clears up the confusion
