The probe in question sounds like the Model 342 Low Capacity Oscilloscope
Probe.  The resistor across the cap is actually a 22M not the 2.2M as stated
in the original e-mail.  Also there is not a 240K resistor between the tip
and ground.  Perhaps the resistor change and added resistor were upgrades to
improve performance.  I have a copy of the spec sheet and will be glad to
scan the details for anyone needing them.
