[HeathKit] Apache Question

Hi Mates,
Could have been the vertical mounting. My old 100V has the same type of
fan, but mounted in a horizontal plane and it has been running for 35 years.
But maybe heath used an even cheaper phonograph motor on the Apache. Some
of my Apaches had the fan, some didn't. My Mauraders all have the fans and
they are not that noisy. Hmmmm
