Heathkit "MOHAWK" Receiver...

     Edward - Pricing is difficult.  But, based on your
     descriptions...according to Bry (AF4K's Boneyard pricing)....recent
     one's have gone for about $100.  However, depending upon condition and
     the matching speaker (which are rare).......$150 - $200 is possible.
     These are especially sought after by those with Apache's and
     Marauder's......with the mods suggested in ER, these receivers are

The young lad down the street has hung up his dreams of ever becoming a
licensed Ham, and asked me to-day if I knew of anyone who might wish to buy
his Heath Mohawk receiver. It has a matching speaker, and a photopcopied
manual...

When I asked him what his asking price was...well, let's just say it's more
than a *BIT*  "optimistic" (a.k.a. "...unrealsitic), way on the high side,
I think. In any event, it's clean, unmodified, unblemished, and working...

Is anyone interested...? What really IS an honest-to-goodness, realistic
price for these, anyway? (boy, I've gotten sticker shock on things like
this here in the past!---but, if I can come with a general concensus, I
just might give the kid an offer of my own and keep the receiver for
myself! Hi Hi).
