Well, all us Heathens ought to know by now that you just can't
second guess Heath's numbering system. In spite of speculation that
Rob's AA-80 kit is probably similar to Heath's highly regarded
tube hi-fi amps (like the AA-81 and AA-40), it just ain't so.....

AA-80 Mobile Public Address Amplifier. Transistor, operates from
12v car battery. 10 watts output. $39.95 when introduced.
On sale for $29.95 in the 1962 Heath catalog.
