Compatibility: D-104 Microphone and DX-60 ?

Does anyone know if these two are compatible?  The DX-60 manual doesn't
have information on exactly what type of microphone is required.  My
microphone base seems to have an amplifier which I assume should be
disconnected. (Wired around.)
