I cannot resist this comment on manuels, I would like to
state that I have purchased manuels from Heath and other
sources and no offense intended to anyone or one co.
but the quality and price from Heath is very very poor.
my SB-200 manuel for example is 30% useless!!!!.
One would think that a Company still somewhat in business
would care enough to send out first quality service literature.
As for the co. I personally think they should have ONE person
supporting past products!!
Go to the state attorney general website and look up product
information, some states require 3 to 7 years support on a
product even if it is discontinued!!!!! Heath is still in
business.
Now I have built 35 or more of their kits and serviced
hundred's and contribute my career to them. Someone told me
there were 40,000 units of one ham radio model out there.
If the company will not support past products then we Hams
and Electronic Tech's will have too.Just think of all the
products over the years, I will do my part to keep the Tube's
Glowing!!!. I think this reflector is great and has a wealth
of talent,let's work together. I am having some stuff made,
quoted, etc. to have replacement parts. for the future.
I would like part sources for old Heath products emailed to
me and any other useful info.
and for manuels I will seek the best quality, every bit of
info is critical especially if subs are needed.
