Trade Army radio for Heath or ?

The tank radio (I will look it up in my radio op. guide but it the middle of
the night now) is not for 12 VDC! All Mil radios for "mobile" use (ie Armor,
Art'y, etc) are 24 VDC.  Double check before you fire it up. Tube equip used
a dynamotor or later on, a switching or osc. power supply (typically 400 HZ
for aerial units) to get AC to run through a transformer to a normal
rectifier/filter section to run tubes. If Solid state, ran from 24 VDC
directly. Take a look at ckt boards, schemataic for clues.  I'll check out my
books and let u know if I find info.
