Harvey, and group,

In defense of the "modifiers".  Let us remember that many of these rigs
were modified when old Heathkits were a drug on the market!  Also, the
modification was not done to ruin the collectors value of the radio (it
had none).  It was done to improve the performance and conveinence of
the radio.  Don't be so hard on these radios -- one might accidentally
take up residence with you!
