Best Example of Turning Platinum to Brass

Last winter (and summer) I built a GC1000 clock, and an
Eico 753.
I think the enjoyment was worth the loss of value. Plus, now I
have a working clock and rig instead of a box of parts!
I still save some of the unbuilt kits, but will probably build them someday.
Perhaps when my son grows up.
