pot cleaning

Hello to All....

First, sincere wishes to all for a joyous holiday season, and a prosperous
New Year!! This, hopefully, will of course translate into more Heathkit
projects in the coming year to keep the rat race (those of us still in it
anyhow) from getting to us. More seriously, however, the continuing of
being thankful for the things in our lives. As silly as it may sound, this
reflector is one of those items I choose not to take for granted. Keep up
the good work everyone, and a special thanks to our beloved Webmaster for
putting up with the occasional mayhem.

Second, I would like to thank all of you for the entertaining dialog
throughout this past year that has been very helpful to me in my
restorations. I wish to especially thank those greenies (and brownies
.....though isn't this one taken by someone else???) for specific replies
and requests. This site is fantastic !!!

Which of course leads me to my question of the month....Someone on this
site indicated that it was not good to use "Blue Shower" to clean pots, as
eventually it "gums them up". While I have not ever had this experience, I
am always on the lookout for something to clean and de-oxidize switches and
pots. I would greatly appreciate the individual telling me again what he
used instead of Blue Shower. I do not buy any of the cleaners from Radio
Shack anymore, as I have had some bad experiences (e.g. some non-cleaning,
conductive fluid), so have been somewhat limited in my choices.

best to all, and thanks for the bandwidth....

...wayne
