The Svetlana 572-B is a very hardy tube. The glass is very strong and the
tubes are sealed with ceramic not glue. Also Amaritron has a 572-B amp with
that tube in it and the Collins people seem to think they are the best tube
for the 30l1. Check out there web site or look in the back of QST. I think
this mounth Svetlana has an add for the 572-B. Also RF Parts sells mached
sets. They too have an add in QST this mounth with the prices.
