5R4 solid state replacements

These things are easy enough to duplicate with an old 4-pin tube base & a
couple of silicon diodes---the only precaution to observe is that your
output B+ voltage will be higher than with a 5R4.

I did this trick with my Johnson Ranger-1, but ultimately removed it for
fear of the possible ill-effects of the extra "strain" (i.e. higher B+) put
on the original components.
