Heathkit Green Clean up

Try lighter fluid. It is a VERY good cleaner. Just be sure to keep it away from plastics, which it can harm (but even there I sometimes use it as a last resort to remove sticky label or tape residue).

WD-40 and alcohol can also sometimes be very effective as cleaners. Again, some of these can damage some surfaces, but metal usually safe and in any case if you are down to clean or repaint, then......

Subject: Heathkit Green Clean up

Hi Greenies..... I am the proud(?) owner of a SB102/SB600. The outer case is
dirty... What's best to use? It looks like a brownish yellow residue. Is
this from a smoker? Simple fantastic did not do much. Any ideas short of
repainting?
Thanks in advance,
John
