6146 et al.

That's a very fair price, Dave.  Antique Electronic supply wants $19.90
each.  Interesting, though, they want $27.50 each for a 6146B and $18.00
each for a 6146A.

They also have a 6146B from China for $15.00.  Anyone had any experience
with these?   I recently bought a couple to try out, but have not had the
opportunity to do so as yet.

By the way, on the subject of tubes, I just purchased a pair of 6CA7/EL34s
for my Apache modulator circuit.  Fair Radio (Lima, Oh.) has Sovteks for
$9.00 each.  Best price I could find elsewhere was over 40 bucks each!
These are apparently quite popular with the tube guitar amp folks. Be
interesting to see how these work out as well.
