FS: Heathkit ID-4001 Weather Station on Ebay

Hum . . . that reminds me of the time I built a heath wx station, converted
it to operate on 12vdc, and installed it at a fire lookout tower on the
Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest.  That was in the early 1980s.  It
operated off the solar panel-charged battery supply to the Forest radio and
repeater.  I wonder if its still running.
