Basement burdens

I don't have much Heath stuff just now, and most of what I have is a
burden to me.
Not, of course, the HR-10B I own jointly with my kid, KC5FDL, but the
pieces of AT-1 I never get back to and, most burdensome, at about 7
pounds, is this mystery:
item number one:
Transformer, black, rounded corners, two black and three other leads. It
is 5 high and 4 X 4.5 inches square and bears the marking "54-50 (or
-30)" in black marker on the bottom.
Item number 2:
A three section, six position, non shorting switch in a cylindrical
pasteboard container stamped "V-7A" with the pencil notation "Range
Switch." It has seen solder.
We are having a basement clean out. Only you can ID these treasures
and help AB5L find them a home. Else they become part of the load when
estate sale time comes, and I don't think they would do very well there.
