Interesting Problem

Well, you know the octal plug is kind of on the shabby side, one end is
electrical taped up, and the radio end isn't to good either, maybe I should
take the cable apart and re-solder.
The radio was fine (except for the buzz) before I started unplugging and
plugging the connector in and out.
