Removing labels

Just got a new bottle recently and yes, it does work, even on plastic. I
think they must have changed the formula. As I remember it, a few years
ago, the formula included acetone. If I happened to use it, I had to be
sure and get rid of the paper towels or rags used as they would stink up
the house! Now, the stuff has a strong citrus odor which is not
altogether unpleasant.
