Removing labels

3M makes a product called "General Adhesive Remover" that I've used with
great success.  It costs around $10 and is available in most auto parts
stores.  Comes in a red and white can, about a quart size if I remember
correctly.

Cigarette lighter fluid will also work.

As always, test on on a non-conspicuous area first.
