HW-7 VFO COIL QUESTION

    I have an old HW-7 I am trying to tune up.  "L13" the
VFO coil and some of the other slug tuned coils(15m, 20m,
and 40m triplers and doublers) are sliding around in their
shafts a little too easily giving me a hard time in setting
them correctly.  Other than finding 'new' ones, is there
anything I can do to make them a little more sluggish,
without affecting their operation or making a mess.  If new
ones are the only alternative, can anyone suggest a source.
I have checked "dans small parts".  I do have a junk hw-7 I
am using for parts, but would like to save myself the
unsoldering mess if I can.  thanks for  your help.  Greg.
