        NOT!  I still rely on one of my three slide rules to give me answers to
design problems!  No batteries required, and always ready to operate!
I also have an E6B and even the book that goes with it full of WW2
airplane pictures!
        Even use the E6B with the Microsoft Flight Sim going cross country
for practice!  It's amazing how close you can come using DR navigation.
It's also fun to crank in winds and try to compensate using the plotter side!
