Regenerative Receivers

Nathan, the MFJ is a model 8100 and I can say it works well.
The main double pointer dial is a grate help.
But I will admit that on my most resent vacation to Mexico
I tool the TenTec 1254. I had a good 12 V cell for power.
Some 34 gauge wire up over the plapa, and I was getting
New York aircraft & tower on 11.33, in addition to all of
the regular AM stuff.
 I think one of these Regens is an ideal first kit for youngsters.
