Hi, Bill, and everyone else:
Good advice if you live in New York City. But if you live in a county
that has any animals larger that a few hundred pounds, **check out a
local farm supply** or or horse tack shop. Get veterinary mineral oil.
It comes in gallon jugs for about $7. While you are there, browse around
and look at porcelain insulators for electric fences, and fiberglass
rods ( for temporary fences). Look through the hardware section also.
Look through all the stuff while you are there getting the oil. You will
find lots of interesting things for ham use!
