IM-2420 Frequency Counter Probe Questiona

I just picked-up a nice IM-2420 frequency counter (with manual).  The B
input probe seems to be simple -  alligator clips, 50 ohm coax, and a
BNC connector.  Any hints or tips on fabricating a 1 megohm Z probe or a
10 megohm, divide-by-10 oscilloscope probe?  FCounter use will be
basically to check the various frequency references in my TS-830S &
VFO-230.
