Does anyone have available for sale/trade any receiving tube manual---be it
R.C.A., Sylvania, G.E. whatever---published near the END of the receiving
tube manufacturing era...?

I enjoy scanning through my "newest" volume (Sylvania 1973) for late
entrants into the receiving tube maket which could be direct substitutes
for the likes of the 6BZ6, 6HS6, etc. etc., as used in my old Heath stuff.

Some of the late additions from designers of that time had tremendously
high transconductance numbers, as compared to the stock & trade of just a
few years before. It amazes me how the state of the art peaked the way it
did, just before the whole market crashed at the feet of hollow state
competition.

Anyway, if you have anything like the LAST volume of the RCA Tube Manual
ever published---whatever!---please let me know...

Thanks &
