Double Listings

The list server is running "hot, straight, and normal".  (old sub talk)  No
double messages are being generated.

Check the headers of any double messages to see just who they are addressed
to and what lists they were posted to.  Many times people who have some
comment or something for sale will post to several lists...and of course if
you are on more than one of them....you get to seeing double.

Take some time to look at the headers of messages if you have access to
them.  You'd be surprised how much information is jammed in all that cryptic
stuff....and answers to questions.  For a better life on the Internet it's
good to learn as much as you can about how it all works....and it's not as
complicated as it first appears.  Nothing ever is.
