I built an absolutely RAZOR SHARP audio filter years ago, centred around a
few of those marvellous old toroids! I still have it, & it continues to
work great.

I think the current crop of "Hamsters" missed-out on the crest of
popularity such devices as yours once so rightfully enjoyed---it's
heartening to see that there are still some around!
