Parting Out SB-400 TRANSMITTER...

I just replaced the pair of 6AU6's (of dubious repute) in the two mixer
stages of my SB-301 with a pair of 6AH6's (of equally dubious repute)...

The result was a 10db. gain in the signal strength of the crystal
calibrator, as observed on my S-meter...

Try it---it's an easy enough sub! Hi Hi.
