Temp sensor for ID-1390 what is it?

Mark and all,
You are correct, the manual says nothing about what the potted diodes are!
I had the exact same question today! So this morning I tried 2 switching
diodes (1N914/1N4148) that seemed to work.  I have not determined if they
are more linear than the original but all this will give you a starting
point. Anyone know what diodes are specifically designed to offer a linear
temp resistance?
