  Personally, I called Heathkit last year and ordered a manual for the
IO4235 Oscilloscope
I picked up at a swap meet.   The manual cost $50 and the scope was only
$60.  Well I
was able to fix the scope, after I found the shorted DIODE in the power
supply.   So, I am
still getting use out of this heathkit scope.   Maybe you think the manual
is expensive from
Heathkit.  But it was high quality.  When I called back to say that it was
missing a schematic,
they sent me the missing piece no charge.   Heathkit is still a good
company.
