Whilst browsing the local Home Depot today, I found something of
interest. In the section where they have  hardware for furniture, there
were some rubber leg tips that were about 2" square and 1/2" thick.  They
were tapered a bit and had an indented hole location in the middle for a
bolt or screw.  The flat portion looked like enough area for double back
tape too. Not an exact foot for some of the larger rigs but certainly
looked like a possible substitute. There were four in a pack for less
than $3.00.  Fred W7PRV
