OK guys, I surrender !!

The whole point of my comment was:
Regardless of whose mail package you use,
if 'heath at listserv.tempe.gov' doesn't appear in an addressee field
then the message will not be posted to the list.

I have no desire to debate the advantages and drawbacks of various
mail programs on this list (I use three different ones daily and all
of them have their own quirks).

The origional question did not mention attachments at all. The only
thing I have to say about attachments is - when you receive one,
don't open it blindly, even if you know the person who sent it to
you. There is some nasty stuff wandering around out there.

Anyone who wants to discuss mail packages or trade nasty virus
stories is welcome to email me directly.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled (green) subject matter.
